SHOOTING LINE ETIQUETTE FOR ARCHERS

1. Wait to leave the line if the archer(s) next to you is at full draw, anchoring or aiming their bow.  Remember, the archer still on the line may be several spots away.

2. To avoid bumping/encroaching your neighbor(s) on the line, be aware of your equipment and your surroundings.  Make sure your arrows and quiver are in your “box”, be careful with swinging your bow and stabilizer.

3. You need to be quiet when on the shooting line, that includes; talking, humming, singing or unpleasant language.

4. When leaving the line, sidestep first, and then turn when completely clear.

5. If you drop an arrow on the line, leave it and get it at the conclusion of the end.  Be prepared by have an extra arrow in your quiver.

If you encounter an archer that does not have proper Shooting Line Etiquette and is distracting you, please tell an Instructor or the Line Judge.
